Founded by the international nonprofit organization Sigma Theta Tau, the National English Honor Society (NEHS) is known for our nurturing of outstanding students in the field of English and academics. Many future leaders have developed their knowledge and usage of the English language through NEHS. In this organization, we will learn and improve upon our writing and oral skills, gaining experience before eventually using it as a foundation and stepping stone into our the rest of our lives.
In the Northwest Rankin National English Honor Society, we will participate in many activities and events that will enhance our current understanding of the English language. We will learn of ways to implement it in our daily lives and our community. This includes writing events and book drives for our libraries, along with many other projects. In our NEHS chapter, we will have fun as we progress further to help both ourselves and our community.
